Location: Monmouth. An ancient county town within the famous beautiful Wye Valley, the property being situated in the adjacent Monnow Valley, many delightful walks nearby, and a fifteen minute walk into Monmouth town and a 20 minute drive to the Ryder Cup 2010.
Westfield Villa is a large detached house ideal for visitors to the Ryder Cup, with lovely unspoiled views overlooking a wide-span of the surrounding countryside, spanning the Skirrid, Sugarloaf and Black mountains. The house is set in a ½ acre plot and decorated and furnished to a very good standard.
The accommodation comprises:
Lounge with a view over the Mountains to the southwest. – TV and DVD double-glazed sliding doors leading to Patio
Dining Room approached from the Hall with a large table to sit 10 people and French doors leading to a paved area and secluded rear garden.
The Breakfast Room is a pleasant room with lovely views over garden and surrounding countryside, two steps leading to large fully fitted kitchen with double oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge
Laundry Room with washing machine, dryer, iron, ironing board and fridge freezer.
Upstairs there are two large double bedrooms both with extended views, one with a double bed and one with two single beds
Family Bathroom with shower over Bath, wash hand basin and wc
Second staircase leads to 2 further double bedrooms a large master bedroom with en-suite shower room and a dressing room with ample hanging rails.

Outside there is a large garden with numerous seating areas with coal and gas BBQ
Monmouth is a county town on the borders of Wales and England and situated at the confluence of the River Monnow and River Wye in the delightful Wye Valley with many interesting historic features – famous for its Bridge over the Monnow. Interesting Museum dedicated to Nelson and his association with Lady Hamilton. The Kymin Tower high above the town with magnificent views over the whole of the area was erected in memory of Nelson.
Great names such as Henry Rolls (Rolls Royce) Henry V, Geoffrey of Monmouth are all associated with Monmouth, also many Churches to visit one dating back to the tenth century
After a day at the Ryder Cup there are a number of good public houses and restaurants to eat at including Indian, Chinese and Pizza Express even an excellent Fish and Chip Take away.
Monmouth and the surrounding area of the Wye Valley is an excellent choice to spend a few days exploring at leisure or a few rounds of golf at the nearby golf courses
