Monmouth is an idyllic location for your stay being within easy reach of the Ryder Cup event, but being a small market town it contains varied shops, restaurants, pubs, coffee bars and all necessary amenities. It is in the heart of the Wye valley surrounded by beautiful countryside and also within easy reach of the Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon, Bristol, Bath, Royal Forest of Dean and only just over 2 hours drive from London.
The Rolls of Monmouth Golf club at the Hendre and Monmouth Golf club are both only a very short distance away. A short walk away is the well known local pub The Royal Oak which is the local golfers meeting place and serves real ales, inexpensive meals and snacks and has a large beer garden with views across the valley.
A welcome pack of food, beers and wines will be provided for your arrival.
The property is offered initially on a self catering basis only. However we are very willing to assist in making your stay as comfortable and stress free as possible. We are therefore happy to negotiate terms for the following if required:
Daily transport to and from the Ryder Cup event (minibus).
Transport locally during the evenings.
Collection from/to Airport/train/bus station.
Breakfast menu and preparation at agreed times.
Shopping for groceries, drinks and general supplies.
In addition, if there are other services not mentioned which you would particularly require, please ask and we will try to help.
Rent is £9,500-00 for 7 days (additional days negotiable).
A non-refundable deposit of £2,000 is payable on booking. The balance and a refundable damage bond of £1000 will be payable by the end of June 2010.
